Barn weddings have a distinct feeling about them which create an inviting, familiar and intimate setting. A setting that encourages us to appreciate nature and the simpler pleasures in life. It is no surprise that our bride and groom, Angelica and Hector, chose the Queens County Farm Museum as their wedding venue. The details in this wedding were divine, from the custom made dress which was designed by our lovely bride and made by her grandmother (talk about beading!) to the handcrafted signs and place cards. Angelica gave her own personal touch and made this day that much more special and thoughtful. We're almost positive they even planned the forecast: a beautiful autumn October day complete with clear blue skies. This was our first "unplugged" wedding. No, we didn't sing live to adoring fans in a dimly lit room, Angelica and Hector made this an electronic free wedding!!! meaning no cellphones, no Instagram, no Facebook, NOTHING. This was fantastic for us because we were able to capture each and every single special moment from the bride's entrance to the groom's b-boy skills on the dance floor. By the way, all of the vendors used for this wedding were found on Instagram: florist (check), hair and makeup (check check), photographers (CHEEECCCKKK). We were so humbled to have photographed this amazing wedding. Congrats Angelica and Hector once again.
