Yancy and Kelvin

Yancy and Kelvin could not have asked for a more perfect day.  We started our day at their lovely apartment where we were greeted by our amazing bride and her bridesmaids.  The room was simply bursting with joyous anticipation.  There was laughter, selfies, good food, and lots of champagne!!!! As we continued our day, we moved on to our groom and groomsmen who happen to have plenty of personality to go around.  The fun only intensified from here on.  The energy level was sky high and every second there was a joke or two.

Yancy and Kelvin are a very special couple.  They wrote their own vows which made everyone who attended the ceremony feel their devotion and loyalty to one another.  At the reception, Kelvin proved to be the dancing king where he captivated everyone with his contagious energy and cool moves and Yancy was not to far behind specially after she changed into her second gown (can we say...pass me the dancing shoes?).  Not only did they celebrate their love for one another but they also celebrated Kelvin's best man's birthday on that very same day.   It was a very lively reception to say the least.  We wish Kelvin and Yancy a lifetime of happiness and that everyday together is as special as their wedding day.  Cheers!

Angelica & Hector

Barn weddings have a distinct feeling about them which create an inviting, familiar and intimate setting.  A setting that encourages us to appreciate nature and the simpler pleasures in life.  It is no surprise that our bride and groom, Angelica and Hector, chose the Queens County Farm Museum as their wedding venue.  The details in this wedding were divine, from the custom made dress which was designed by our lovely bride and made by her grandmother (talk about beading!) to the handcrafted signs and place cards.  Angelica gave her own personal touch and made this day that much more special and thoughtful.  We're almost positive they even planned the forecast: a beautiful autumn October day complete with clear blue skies.  This was our first "unplugged" wedding.  No, we didn't sing live to adoring fans in a dimly lit room, Angelica and Hector made this an electronic free wedding!!! meaning no cellphones, no Instagram, no Facebook, NOTHING.  This was fantastic for us because we were able to capture each and every single special moment from the bride's entrance to the groom's b-boy skills on the dance floor.  By the way, all of the vendors used for this wedding were found on Instagram: florist (check), hair and makeup (check check), photographers (CHEEECCCKKK).  We were so humbled to have photographed this amazing wedding.  Congrats Angelica and Hector once again.

Crystal & TJ

Although it has taken us a while to get to writing, we are finally sharing Crystal and TJ's wedding day.  Crystal and TJ are a very special couple.  They celebrated their day surrounded by their loving families and great friends at the beautiful Water's Edge in Long Island City overlooking the ever breathtaking New York City skyline and the most perfect view of the 59th  Street bridge.  Here is a glimpse of what their day looked like..

And, yes...they had a pretzel stand greeting their guests as they left the venue.  How can anyone resist?
